Sanitising our hands and homes
Shortages in hand sanitiser is making lots of people very anxious. We have relied on this little gem to clean our hands. It feels good to get rid of all those germs!
There are so many media reports about hand sanitiser. We thought we’d make a small contribution to hopefully make people feel more at ease.
Thankfully, there are ways around these shortages. Sometimes you just need to be creative when times are tough.
The important thing to remember with the Corona Virus, particularly if we’re mostly healthy, is that there are solutions out there…
Here’s a quick and natural recipe hand sanitiser recipe:
2/3 cup 99 percent rubbing alcohol (isopropyl alcohol) or ethanol.
1/3 cup aloe vera gel
8 to 10 drops essential oil (optional)
All you need to do is mix this together and voila! Hand sanitiser in just a minute…
Apart from our hands, there are other things we can do…
We also need to sanitise our homes using the right stuff. We go outside to different places and bring back different germs and bacteria inside.
How about those people that walk inside with their shoes on? Not only is this annoying, but just imagine where that person has been stepping all day.
One of the best things we recommend is using citrus oils. Once mixed with other solutions, you’re one step closer to disinfecting your home. You also get to enjoy the fresh smell of orange too.
There is even research out there suggesting that citrus can act as an antibiotic.
This happens to be one of our favourites and something our customers really enjoy as well.
As mentioned, please remember to look after yourselves and follow the recommended health measures out there.
